Ingredients:
3 cups steamed rice (1.5 cups of uncooked rice, preferably prepared in a rice cooker)
5 nori seaweed sheets
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds (optional)
1 cucumber peeled, cut into thin strips
1 carrot peeled, cut into thin strips
1 avocado, cut into strips
fish (optional)
Directions:
Spread steamed rice over a pan and sprinkle
rice vinegar over it to reduce stickiness.
Place
one sheet nori on a sushi mat and thinly spread rice on the sheet. Sprinkle
some sesame seeds on top of the rice (optional). Add 2-3 strips of each
vegetable. Make a roll while pressing slightly.
Use a wet knife to cut each
roll into 5 or more slices.
